TAFAWA BALEWA: Was prime Minister during Nnamdi Azikiwe regime
MAJOR GENERAL JOHNSON AGUYI-IRONSI: Born on March 3rd 1924, he was the head of State and commander in Chief of the Nigerian forces between January 15th 1966 to July 1966.

GENERAL YAKUBU GOWON: was born on Oct., 19th 1934 in Garan, Pankshin, Plateau State. Became the head of State after the palace coup that claimed the life of his boss, Major Johnson Aguiyi Ironsi, on July 29th,1 966, He presided over the civil war, and was later over thrown on July 29th 1975 while in add is Abba (Ethiopia) for the Organisation of African Unity Heads of state meeting.

GENERAL MURTALA RAMAT MOHAMMED: Born Nov., 8th 1938. He took over power from General Yakubu Gowon as the Head of State from 29th July, 1975. He was assassinated in a bloody coup by Col. Buka Suka Dimka on February 13th 1976; on his way to the mosque.

CHIEF OLUSEGUN AREMU OBASANJO: Born March 5th 1937: was called to take up the mantle of leadership of the Nigeria Nation after the assassination of General Murtata: He conducted a transition programme that culminated in the election of Aihaji Shehu Aliyu Shagari as ‘an Executive President on September 3Oth,1976 He was president of Nigeria 1976-1979 and Jater imprisoned by the Abacha Junta over a Phantom Coup.

ALHAJI SHEHU.ALIYU SHAGARI: 19th of August 1979 the defunct Federal Electoral Commission (FEDECO) declared Alhaji Shehu Sh’agari winner of that year presidential election with first put a seal to the birth of Second Republic. Shagari was later overthrown by General Muhammadu Suhari on Dec. 31st , 1983.
GENERAL MUHAMMADU BIJHARI: Born December 17th, 1942 in Daura Kastina, Kastina. On December 31st 1983. he took over power from Shehu Shagari and terminate the inglorious 4 years of the Second Republic. He was later became the chairman of the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) under General. ani Abacha. He was the presidential Flag bearer of All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP). 

GENERAL IBRAHIM BADAMOSI BABANGIDA: Bom August 17th 1941 Minna, Niger State. He was an old student of government college, Bida. He become the first Military President from August 27th,1 985 toAugust 26th 1993, he introduced the controversial Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) and introduced the two party system SDP and NRC with the famous option A4. He annulled the June 12, 1993 Presidential election which was one by M.K.O Abiola

CHIEF ERNEST SHONEKAN: He was appointed the head of the interim National Government on 26th August,1993, but later overthrown by General Sani Abacha on November 17th, 1993 (3 month)
GENERAL SANI ABACHA: lie was Nigeria Head of State that came to power on the November 17th 993, after overthrowing Chief Shonekan in a bloodless coup. On theist of October1996, he created more 6 state. Spent 5 year on the throne. He kicked the bucket on June 8, 1998. 

GENERALABDULSALAMI ABUBAKAR: He was Nigeria’s last military head of state, he took 9ver power after the death of General Sani Abacha. He handed over power to a democratically elected government of President Olusegun Obasanjo on 29th May ,1 999.

OBASANJO OLUSEGUN: After retired from the military force, he was chosen as the flag bearer of People Democratic Party (PDP) and became the president of the federal Republic of Nigeria for the second time on civilian from 29th May1999 - 29th May 2003. He was re-elected as the president from 29th  May, 2003 - 29th  May 2007.

MUSA YAR ‘ADUA: He was the first Nigeria graduate and educated leader to rule the country. He was the thirteen Nigeria President and Commander - in - Chief of the Armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Later Musa YarAdua travelled to Saudi Arabia for treatment on 23rd November2009 and return back to Nigeria on 24th February 2010. Late Musa Yar ‘Adua became the 5th Nigeria leader to die in office and the first civilian president to die in office at the aged of 59
